1. Who we are
Fonna is an AI-powered producer feedback service. By creating an account or using the service at fonna.ai, you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. The service
Fonna provides AI-generated producer feedback on uploaded audio files. Reports cover arrangement, production, and mix. Reports are generated by AI and are intended as creative guidance only. They do not constitute professional music production, mixing, or mastering advice. Results may vary and are not guaranteed.
3. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- Accounts are for individual use only. One account per person. Account sharing is not permitted.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Fonna.
4. Your email address
Your email address is used solely to create and access your Fonna account. Specifically:
- We use your email to send you a sign-in link and to communicate with you directly about your account or service updates.
- We will not send you marketing emails without your explicit consent.
- We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party.
- We will never use your email for any purpose unrelated to your use of Fonna.
5. Credits
- New accounts receive 1 free credit on signup.
- Additional credits are purchased in packs. All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds on purchased credits.
- Credits do not expire as long as Fonna remains operational.
- If Fonna ceases operations, unused credits will be forfeited. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of any closure.
- Fonna may change its pricing and credit pack structures at any time. Changes do not affect credits already purchased.
- In cases of documented technical errors that result in a failed or clearly broken report, Fonna may issue replacement credits at our discretion. This is not a guaranteed right and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
6. Audio uploads
- You may upload audio in WAV, MP3, M4A, AAC, FLAC, AIFF, and AIF formats.
- Maximum file size is 60MB. Maximum track duration is 6 minutes. These limits are subject to change.
- You must have the right to upload any audio you submit. By uploading, you confirm that you own or have licensed the content.
- Do not upload audio containing unlicensed samples, copyrighted material you do not have rights to, or content that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive.

8. Your content and our use of reports
You retain full ownership of your uploaded audio and any music it contains. Fonna claims no rights over your compositions or recordings.
Generated reports may be retained by Fonna in anonymized, aggregate form for the purpose of improving the service, refining AI prompting and language models, and analysing output quality. No personally identifiable information is attached to retained report data. Audio files are never retained.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Fonna to:
- Upload content you do not have rights to
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent the free credit limit
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Fonna is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reports will meet your expectations. AI-generated feedback is inherently subjective and should be treated as one perspective among many.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fonna and 170681639 Ontario shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the 30 days prior to the claim.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Fonna after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
